Ukraine’s population trimmed to 46.5 million Ukrainians
Since the beginning of the year 2007, the population of Ukraine trimmed from 46 million 646 thousand people to 46.424 million people.
This information was posted at the web site of the State Statistics Committee of Ukraine.
In particular, as of 1 November 2007, the population of Ukraine numbered 46 million 424 thousand 190 people.
During 10 months of the current year, 398 thousand babies were born in Ukraine, and 630 thousand people died. The natural growth of population remains negative – 232 thousand people.
